Platonic Form of Passover Seders

Platonic Form

I find this article very interesting. Despite the fact that Hanukkah is a commemeration of Jews who resisted assimilation into Hellenistic culture, there are several references to Greek logic and philosophy in Judaism. The form of the creation story is one; the seder is another.

Well, I hope you get this since you haven't been very active recently from what I can tell. I would hope that means, however, that you are so busy you just don't have time! I found your blog from a search on Tallitot, but after reading a few more posts I was astounded. I too am a convert, but I live in Florida, quite a ways from Alaska. I even find it funny we converted a year apart, but maybe that's good too. I really just wanted some advice. Living in a place (Pensacola) with few Jews, I find it especially hard to be Jewish, let alone a convert. Any advice on easing my transition as I grow into my Judaism?
